About Nikita
Nikita Agrawal is a sophomore at MIT and a student researcher recognized by the Society for Science as a Regeneron Science Talent Search (STS) Scholar. She has conducted notable research and presented at the American Geophysical Union (AGU), International Conference on Sustainable Development (ICSD), American Meteorological Society (AMS), and Argonne National Laboratory.
Nikita's independent wildfire prediction research, which applied AI modeling, earned her the Excellence in Geography and Geospatial Science Award from the National Geographic Society. Her tropical cyclone track forecasting project received a special award from NOAA. Most recently, Nikita performed research with the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) at Kirtland Air Force Base on autonomous vehicle docking. Nikita has published her research in peer-reviewed journals as a first author.
Additionally, Nikita is the founder of a non-profit organization, FinPro World, dedicated to advancing financial literacy globally. Her innovative approach combines financial concepts with computer programming, and has impacted students worldwide. Nikita advocates for financial empowerment, speaking at national forums, podcasts, summits and has attracted an impressive $20K in grants. Nikita is a Coca-Cola Scholar and a Prudential Emerging Visionary Grand Prize Winner.
