About Nikita

Nikita Agrawal is a Freshman at MIT. She is a student researcher and founder of a non-profit organization, FinPro World, dedicated to advancing financial literacy globally. Her innovative approach combines financial concepts with computer programming, and has impacted students worldwide. Nikita advocates for financial empowerment, speaking at national forums, podcasts, summits and has attracted an impressive $20K in grants. Nikita is a Coca-Cola Scholar and a Prudential Emerging Visionary Grand Prize Winner. 

 

Nikita is passionate about safeguarding our environment and is active in the fight against climate change. Committed to advancing environmental justice, Nikita’s independent research on predicting wildfires, where she developed AI models, was recognized with a Grand Award by the Society for Science and an Excellence in Geography and Geospatial Science Award by the National Geographic Society. Her another research on tropical cyclone track forecast received a Grand Award by the Society for Science and a special award by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Nikita is a Regeneron Science Talent Search (STS) Scholar.

 

Nikita has performed notable research and presented at the American Geophysical Union (AGU) conference, International Conference on Sustainable Development (ICSD), American Meteorological Society (AMS) Conference and the Argonne National Laboratory. She was a speaker at the international Women Deliver 2023 Virtual Conference discussing gender equality, financial freedom and climate change.
